FOH assistant manager

FOH Assistant Manager at DIG Hospitality. This role is responsible for front-of-house operations when the General Manager is not present, at one of our three locations. The duties listed below are not in any specific order and are not limited to:

• Enter invoices in computer.
• Take inventory and enter in computer.
• Clean and organize: it is your responsibility to ensure that all equipment is organized and cleaned every shift.
• Help to maintain all equipment.
• Training of new staff. You must be able to train new staff to ensure that all guidelines are being met and that all new staff becomes knowledgeable of our menu and how we execute it.
• Lead the front of house through each shift.
• Ensure that staff members are completing their tasks in a timely manner and following all guidelines set by our company.
• If guidelines are not followed, take appropriate steps to manage the situation, such as talking to the employee, showing them the right way, and if necessary, completing a write-up form. The kitchen manager will take all situations into consideration.
• You will be responsible for the safety of all items and people in the kitchen, along with all other areas of the property when you see problems or concerns.
• Staffing: help maintain the necessary staff to run the front of the house. This means constantly leading, training, supervising and covering shifts when necessary. Ensure shifts are covered while keeping labor costs in mind, and make necessary labor cuts when needed.
