Key Responsibilities:Provide American Sign Language interpretation services in educational settings.
Collaborate with teachers, students, and staff to facilitate effective communication.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and ethical standards.
Adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.
Ensure accurate and timely interpretation during school hours.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current sign language interpreter certification (e.g., NIC, RID, or equivalent).
Minimum of 1 year experience as a sign language interpreter in educational settings or related environments.
Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Ability to pass background checks and be flexible for school schedules.
Patience, adaptability, and professionalism.
Skills:
Additional certification in sign language interpretation.
Premium pay: weekly direct deposit with next-day pay features coming soon, rates 13% above market average.
