Job description
The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products throughout the facility. This role supports production and warehouse operations by ensuring materials are handled safely, accurately, and in a timely manner to maintain workflow and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

* Transport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

* Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse or stockroom, ensuring materials are stored properly and safely.

* Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production based on work orders or instructions.

* Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels using inventory management systems.

* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

* Collaborate with production, shipping, and purchasing teams to support operational needs.

* Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to promptly.

* Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

* Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma/GED

* Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

* Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required).

* Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Commitment to safety and compliance with company policies

* Able to lift at least 35lbs
