As a Security Officer - Media Access Control in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your presence will support a secure environment for employees and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and guests with inquiries and directions related to the location.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and timely manner.
• Support emergency response activities as needed based on site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
