Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant at Bankjoy
Bankjoy is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations in a fast-growing Fin Tech environment. This remote-first role includes full ownership of accounts receivable, payables, and US multi-state sales tax compliance.

As a Senior Accountant at Bankjoy, you will partner directly with the COO and take charge of the complete monthly billing cycle, ensuring accurate revenue reporting and tax compliance. Your responsibilities will encompass not just accounts but also month-end closes across multiple entities, and external audits. The ideal candidate is self-directed and detail-oriented, with experience in SaaS accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the monthly billing cycle processes end to end

• Reconcile vendor invoices and manage accounts receivable collections

• Handle all aspects of US multi-state sales tax and compliance

• Execute month-end close and prepare KPI reports

• Coordinate with auditors during annual financial audits

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Hands-on experience in US multi-state sales tax

• Working knowledge of Avalara or similar systems

• Proficiency in Quick Books Online and Salesforce

• CPA certification preferred
