Salary: Flat Rate, up to $ + media bonuses, 40 hour/week guarantee

Your Area of FocusAs a Licensed Automotive Technician, you will diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems to ensure their security and functionality. You will conduct preventative maintenance, inspect critical vehicle components such as brakes, fuel systems, and engines, and repair or replace parts as needed. You will also mentor apprentices and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
What Drives Your Day‑to‑Day- Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work outlined on Repair Orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and OEM standards.
- Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage production/repairs, cycle times, and customer communication.
- Conduct multi‑point inspections and make recommendations for repairs while ensuring safety and reliability of returned vehicles.
- Document all work performed on the vehicle Repair Order by creating a story in the associated repair order, consistent with OEM standards, ensuring warranty work payment is provided by the manufacturer.
- Maintain an inventory of common automotive technician tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as a “store‑provided” piece of equipment.
- Stay abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes as required.
- Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and department revenue.
- Strong knowledge of various makes and models.
- Red Seal Certification required.
- Completion of a related post‑secondary program and/or training courses.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving history.
- Working with an Original Equipment Manufacturer.
