Classification: Full time/Part Time, Onsite, Immediate Vacancy, Flat Rate

Salary: Flat Rate, up to $50.63/hour + media bonuses, 40 hour/week guarantee

As a Licensed Automotive Technician, your primary responsibilities include diagnosing, testing, and repairing vehicle systems to ensure their security and functionality, using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. You'll conduct preventative maintenance, inspect critical components such as brakes, fuel systems, and engines, and repair or replace parts as needed. Additionally, you'll mentor apprentices and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and OEM standards.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors regularly to manage production/repairs, cycle times and customer communication.
• Conduct multi‑point inspections to make recommendations for repairs and ensure the safety and reliability before vehicle return.
• Document all work performed on the vehicle in the associated repair order, ensuring workshop compliance and warranty payment for manufacturer work.
• Maintain a tool inventory of common automotive technician tools not normally inventoried by the Service department.
• Stay updated on factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes as required.
• Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and department revenue.

• Strong knowledge of various makes and models.
• Red Seal Certification required.
• Completion of a related post‑secondary program or training courses.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
