As part of the Civil Department, the Carpenter will engage in vital civil and construction work, providing guidance to laborers and ensuring the timely completion of tasks. You'll be involved in tasks such as interpreting project drawings while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and collaborating with construction crews.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support civil construction projects from start to finish
• Organize and coordinate construction site layouts efficiently
• Supervise work to meet project specifications
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Collaborate with contractors and other teams effectively
Requirements:
• Two years post-certification experience in civil construction
• Skilled in formwork, rebar, and concrete work
• Experience in energized yards preferred
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Ability to travel regularly within New Brunswick
