Position: Building Science Specialist at EXP

Join EXP as a Building Science and Specifications Specialist supporting architectural projects in New Brunswick. This role blends technical expertise in building-envelope design with architectural specification management.

As a seasoned professional, you'll work from our Fredericton, Moncton, or Saint John office, collaborating with architects and engineers on new constructs and renovations. Your responsibilities include leading design reviews, advising teams on building systems, and ensuring the integrity of construction documents and specifications. You will have a pivotal role in enhancing project delivery and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead building-envelope design reviews through project phases

• Advise on exterior wall, roof, and waterproofing systems

• Develop architectural specifications for building-envelope systems

• Conduct building-envelope investigations and performance audits

• Support construction administration with envelope-related documentation

Requirements:

• Seven-plus years in building science or related field

• Licensed architect or professional engineer preferred

• Strong understanding of building-envelope materials and systems

• Experience with architectural specifications and technical details

• Excellent communication and client-service skills
