This engineering role is pivotal in designing winding assemblies for power transformers. You will be tasked with producing detailed engineering drawings while ensuring compliance with IEEE, IEC, and ANSI standards. Engage in cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing groups to streamline the design-to-production process and support prototyping and testing activities thoroughly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and optimize winding assemblies for transformers
• Maintain detailed CAD drawings and models
• Comply with IEEE, IEC, and ANSI standards
• Improve cost efficiency and manufacturability of designs
• Support prototyping and troubleshoot production issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 6–10 years transformer design experience
• Proficient in CAD tools (AutoCAD, NX, Solid Works)
• Knowledgeable in materials and manufacturing processes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
