Manufacturing Engineer

Marshall Land Systems seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for a 1-year term in Moncton, NB. Optimize manufacturing processes in defense systems, ensuring efficiency and high-quality standards.

This role reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with design engineering, production, and quality teams. You will develop and implement essential manufacturing plans, validate production designs, and provide technical support to resolve manufacturing issues. Ensure compliance with industry regulations while supporting ongoing production initiatives and new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop manufacturing plans and standard operating procedures

• Collaborate with design engineers on manufacturability

• Analyze workflows to enhance quality and reduce waste

• Specify and procure necessary tooling and equipment

• Conduct root cause analysis on production deviations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

• 3–7 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in defense

• Proficiency in CAD software like Solid Works

• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma

• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
