Position: By-Law Enforcement Officer

As a Community Safety Officer, you will serve under the supervision of the Team Lead – By-Law Execution. This role requires commitment to public safety, community education, and firm enforcement of regulations. A diploma in policing or a related field is essential, alongside at least one year of relevant enforcement experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol community spaces and ensure public safety

• Address non-emergency situations effectively

• Interpret and enforce municipal By-Laws

• Write detailed reports on enforcement activities

• Collaborate with city officials and community agencies

Requirements:

• High School diploma with post-secondary qualifications

• One year minimum experience in law enforcement

• Comprehensive knowledge of by-law enforcement processes

• Excellent communication skills in both languages preferred

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
