Reporting to the Deputy Chief, you will be instrumental in enforcing the Ontario Fire Code and delivering fire protection services. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, coordinating public outreach programs, and supporting emergency management functions. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct fire safety inspections and enforce relevant legislation
• Review and recommend Fire Safety Plans for approval
• Participate in fire investigations and prepare documentation
• Deliver community fire prevention and education programs
• Assist in emergency management and risk assessments
Requirements:
• Minimum five years of fire service experience
• NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level I and II certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Class (D) Ontario driver's license in good standing
• Current first aid and CPR certification
