Combined Laboratory / X-Ray Technologist II  Swan Hills, with its population of 1,201, is a small town in northern Alberta surrounded by Big Lakes Country, located approximately 80 kms north of Whitecourt. Swan Hills' scenic wilderness makes it a popular year-round destination for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventuring, including camping, hunting, fishing, and ATV riding. Description:

As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II, you will direct and supervise the day-to-day operation of department staff and services in their area. You will be responsible for the coordination, organization and operation of the site Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments. You will also be responsible to perform site specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, cardiology procedures and related duties following established standards and practice defined by the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and Health Professions Act.
