Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a strategic, innovative, and motivated individual to join our team as a Clinical Director. The Clinical Director will work in partnership with the Clinical Department Head and Program Medical Directors across Horizon to provide overall responsibility and accountability for the delivery of services within allocated resources.

Who

you are

You have a worked as a healthcare leader for a minimum of 7 years. You have experience in healthcare administration, mentoring, leading, facilitating, team building, negotiation, decision-making and conflict resolution.

You hold a master's degree in health or business administration linked to a clinical profession.

What you will do

The Clinical Director will:

  • Lead and facilitate the delivery of quality care in close collaboration with the applicable Horizon Clinical Networks/Programs.
  • Lead the coordination of daily operations and patient flow across the facility, optimizing capacity, access, and discharge processes to support safe, efficient, and timely patient care.
Leadership and Management:
  • Provide visionary leadership.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous performance improvement to delivery safe, quality patient care.
  • Ensure departments are fiscally responsible.
  • Oversee the daily operations
Strategic Planning and Continuous Performance Improvement:
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Executive Director, Program Medical Director and Regional Leadership to develop and execute strategic plans, goals, and initiatives that are aligned with Horizon’s mission, vision, and values, as well as the Province of New Brunswick’s Health Care Plan.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the quality and efficiency of services through established key performance indicators, project specific metrics, audits, and feedback from the teams.
Patient Safety and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements, maintaining documentation and records as needed.
