As a key member of an inter-professional team, you will assess, plan, and implement care for patients with chronic pain. The ideal candidate holds relevant licensure and has extensive knowledge in pain management and rehabilitation. You will utilize your strong organizational skills and empathy to enhance patient outcomes, collaborating closely with community resources and contributing to ongoing educational sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan care for chronic pain patients
• Implement patient education materials and sessions
• Collaborate within an inter-professional team
• Set up self-management and rehabilitation plans
• Evaluate and adapt treatment strategies as necessary
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program
• Current licensure with BC health regulatory body
• Two years' recent experience in chronic pain management
• Eligible for Canadian Association membership
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
