Contract Manager – Payments Compliance & Partner Onboarding

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support our Payments Compliance Program , with a strong focus on partner onboarding . This role works closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure third-party partners are onboarded efficiently while meeting all regulatory, legal, and payments-industry requirements.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the payments or fintech space , understands compliance-driven contracting, and can manage multiple partner onboarding work streams in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle for payments and fintech partners
Support partner onboarding by coordinating contract reviews, approvals, and execution
Ensure contracts align with payments compliance requirements and internal policies
Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Security teams on third-party due diligence
Track contract status, onboarding milestones, risks, and dependencies
Maintain audit-ready documentation for compliance and regulatory reviews
Identify contract or onboarding bottlenecks and drive process improvements
Support ongoing partner compliance, renewals, amendments, and terminations
Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience as a Contract Manager in payments, fintech, or financial services
Strong understanding of payments compliance and third-party risk requirements
Experience supporting partner onboarding or vendor management programs
Proven experience working with Legal and Compliance teams
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders in a remote setting
Nice to Have
Experience with payment processors, PSPs, card networks, or issuing/acquiring models
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulations (PCI DSS, AML/KYC, SOC
2)
Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools or workflow platforms
Experience supporting audits or regulatory inquiries
