As Associate Manager of LTD Claims at Manulife, you will direct a disability claims team reviewing and investigating LTD claims. Your focus includes workflow management, customer service strategies, technical guidance, and staff development. The role supports operational effectiveness and a high-quality claims management organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop staff members
- Monitor workflow management and conduct performance management
- Hire staff for the disability claim team
- Provide guidance on complex claims issues
- Support customer relationships with key accounts
- Two to three years of supervisory experience
- Strong Group Disability adjudication and insurance knowledge
- Knowledge of medical terminology and case management practices
- Technical training and staff development experience
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
