Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Lead complex RFx processes as a Procurement Specialist III with strong analysis and communication skills, working remotely within Alberta when eligible. Support clinical and technical equipment categories for Health Shared Services.
This procurement professional develops contracts and amendments that create value and mitigate risk. The position coordinates competitive bidding activities, from RFx development and evaluation through negotiations and contract award. It also manages assigned categories within procurement policies, processes, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead complex, high-value competitive procurement processes
Develop RFx documents and coordinate evaluations
Prepare contracts and contract amendments
Assist with contract implementations and awards
Manage contracts within assigned categories
Requirements:
Post-secondary degree in Business or Supply Management
Minimum five years of progressive procurement experience

Experience with RFx development, evaluation, negotiations, and awards
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Bring strategic sourcing, contract management, and stakeholder communication expertise to Health Shared Services procurement activities across Alberta.
