Join Dexterra Group as a Maintenance Worker in a Northern Manitoba remote camp setting. Responsible for facility upkeep, ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency.
This full-time role reports to the Camp Manager, focusing on light maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and assisting janitorial staff. You will perform scheduled checks on camp assets, address maintenance problems, and engage in light carpentry, making every shift impactful. Experience in this environment is crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform light maintenance checks on camp facilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues
• Conduct light carpentry work to support operations
• Remove dormitory waste daily
• Aid janitorial staff in operational tasks
Requirements:
• Experience in hotel or lodge maintenance settings
• Preferably a valid G Class or Class 5 Drivers License
• Proficient with light power tools
• Pass criminal background checks and drug testing
• Ability to commit to 2 weeks on/1 week off schedule
