Your Opportunity
Our Atlantic offices are looking for a Senior Manager to join our BDO Personal Debt Solutions team and own the following responsibilities:
Manage consumer bankruptcy and proposal filesProvide advice on current bankruptcy laws and practices, conduct debtor assessments, and manage recovery of assets (including acting as Receivers)Supervise staff and delegate tasks and projects as requiredOngoing communications with debtors, creditors, the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, and the Courts through creditor meetings, reports, attendance at Court, etc.Identify, target, and develop referral sources.Assist with practice development assignments and travel to other BDO offices and satellite locations as requiredAssist with managing court files, including taxation of feesHow do we define success for your role?

Excellent knowledge and understanding of insolvency rules, laws, and proceduresFully Licensed Insolvency Trustee (Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP)Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as requiredFlexibility on working hours as some evening work will be requiredWillingness to travel to assist in the coverage of satellite officesYou value teamwork, client service, and quality in your work.
