At Blackbird Interactive, you will spearhead technical leadership and guide engineering across 4 to 8 active projects.
Your role involves hiring essential technical talent while ensuring that project setups are robust and aligned with strategic goals. Collaborate closely with production and project leads to enhance technical foundations and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering leadership across the studio projects
• Manage hiring for key technical roles and contributors
• Drive technical assessments for project proposals
• Establish strong technical foundations prior to project launch
• Provide ongoing engineering leadership addressing emergent issues
Requirements:
• Significant experience in senior engineering leadership
• Proven track record in game development
• Proficiency with proprietary and commercial engines
• Expertise in managing technical teams and making decisions
• Strong communication skills with team members and partners
