Engineering Manager - Marketing & Privacy

Lead the Marketing & Privacy Engineering team at Affirm as an Engineering Manager. You'll shape privacy-aware consumer experiences while developing a high-performing engineering culture.

In this remote role, you will manage engineers across two critical pillars, ensuring that both Marketing and Consumer Privacy initiatives foster sustainable growth. Your leadership will establish a cohesive operating model, bridging efforts in consumer web experiences and measurement systems. Collaborating closely with Product Managers and technical leads, you will transform business priorities into actionable engineering strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop engineers across Marketing and Consumer Privacy

• Establish an effective shared operating model for MPE

• Collaborate with Product Managers to align engineering plans

• Guide engineering strategies in consumer data and privacy integration

• Build strong relationships across various teams for shared systems

Requirements:

• Proven track record in managing software engineers

• Strong foundation in software engineering and technical judgment

• Experience in leading consumer-facing web platforms

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional alignment

• Familiarity with global privacy requirements is a plus
