CNC Mill Operator; Weekend shift

APEX is looking for a skilled CNC Boring Mill Operator to join our Custom Contract Manufacturing team on the weekend shift .

This is an opportunity to work with a Toshiba CNC Boring Mill, advanced tooling, and complex custom projects where your experience and attention to detail truly matter.

What You’ll Be Doing Setting up and operating a Toshiba CNC Boring Mill to produce high-precision components Working from blueprints and production drawings to tight tolerances Using precision measuring tools and hand tools to ensure accuracy and quality Managing your workflow to meet production timelines Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace Collaborating with supervisors and team members to deliver high-quality results What You Bring Diploma in CNC/Manual Machining or equivalent hands-on experience Experience with boring mills (Toshiba, Fermat, or similar) Experience with probing systems (Renishaw preferred) Strong understanding of GD&T Ability to operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment Comfort working in both imperial and metric measurements Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Ability to work independently with minimal supervision A team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills If you take pride in your machining skills and want to work on projects where quality truly matters, we’d love to hear from you.
