Assemble remote shutdown systems at BASE Engineering using CAD drawings, hand tools, and careful attention to detail. This is a six-month fixed-term assignment.
The Production Assembly Technician supports OPW’s production assembly line under the Production Manager’s supervision. You will complete final assembly for BASE Engineering products, including harnesses, enclosures, handhelds, and receivers. The work supports product quality and customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble remote shutdown systems according to customer orders
- Follow CAD drawings accurately during assembly
- Assemble harnesses, enclosures, handhelds, and receivers
- Complete final assembly for BASE Engineering products
- Support quality standards on the production assembly line
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of light machinery
- Familiarity with hand tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Strong safety focus and teamwork
