Wood Mackenzie moved under Private Equity ownership in 2023 and is now executing on its Value Creation Plan to deliver high growth. As part of this growth plan, and to help embed a go to market transformation, we a have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the global Marketing team in a new role as Senior Manager, Marketing Programs & Enablement.
We are looking for someone who thrives within a fast-paced, dynamic global business and who has a keen focus on optimizing the ways of working to align strategy, enable teams and ensure programs and projects are delivered with clarity, pace and discipline.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in Marketing, and who understands how all the different functions work together to build and deliver an integrated marketing plan. This role is critical to driving our next phase of growth, requiring a candidate who has strong people skills, excellent project management capabilities, and who operates as a change agent across the whole department.
This role will work closely with the CMO and the rest of the Marketing Leadership team.
Main Responsibilities Marketing ways of working:
You will build and evolve the Marketing operating model and ways of working to support scale, speed and execution discipline. Establishing frameworks for how work gets done, not the delivery of the work itself. Driving clarity on roles, responsibilities, and handoffs across teams.
Strategy to execution planning:
Translate strategic priorities and projects into clear, structured plans, roadmaps, and deliverables, building in delivery capacity and sequencing across the team. Ensure transparent execution tracking and drive accountability.
Marketing Squads:
Sit at the centre of all cross-functional Marketing squads as the orchestrator. Ensure clear objectives, timelines, accountability and effective collaboration while managing risks, dependencies and delivery blockers, escalating to the Marketing Leadership Team as appropriate.
Operational effectiveness:
Identify and remove bottlenecks and inefficiencies in delivery processes. Improve how teams collaborate, plan and execute work across functions. Build scalable processes that enhance productivity, coordination and delivery predictability.
Marketing Enablement:
Ensure ways of working are embedded and processes are understood and adopted. Run the Marketing Enablement training program for the team (with content often delivered by other teams), creating playbooks, templates and frameworks to drive adoption and consistency. Drive change management and establish feedback loops to continuously improve the effectiveness of how Marketing operates. Partner closely with Marketing Operations to ensure alignment between process adoption and supporting tools and systems.
