Make a significant impact in healthcare as a Flight Nurse RN with Ambulance New Brunswick in Moncton. This casual role requires critical care expertise in fast-paced air medical transport settings.
Ambulance New Brunswick is seeking a qualified registered nurse with at least three years of experience in critical care to serve as a Flight Nurse. This position involves transporting critically ill patients in collaboration with a dedicated air medical crew. Candidates must be registered to practice in New Brunswick and be prepared for rigorous flight training and certification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide autonomous care to critically ill and injured patients
• Collaborate with medical control physicians and flight team
• Attend to patient needs during air transport
• Complete required flight physiology and safety training
• Participate in ongoing education and competency assessments
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years' critical care nursing experience
• Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Willingness to obtain PHTLS/TNCC certification
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
• Fluency in English or French required
