NBCC is seeking a dynamic Clinical Instructor to facilitate the re-entry and bridging program for Canadian Educated Nurses and Internationally Educated Nurses. This casual role requires you to leverage your nursing expertise and teaching skills, focusing on acute medical-surgical settings. You will foster professional relationships with students and stakeholders, contributing to the growth of future nurses in the Canadian healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and evaluate Registered Nurse students in clinical settings
• Establish a positive learning environment for student engagement
• Develop instructional materials and resources for effective teaching
• Build relationships with colleagues, partners, and students
• Integrate technology into teaching methodologies
Requirements:
• Nursing Degree with 3 years of acute care experience
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick
• Communication skills in English
• Experience teaching in post-secondary education preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism
