Job Description
The Cashier is responsible for providing courteous and efficient customer service while accurately processing sales transactions. This role includes operating the cash register, handling cash and electronic payments, and ensuring transactions are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The Cashier assists customers with basic inquiries, maintains a clean and organized checkout area, and follows all loss prevention, cash handling, and safety guidelines. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude, contributing to a smooth and pleasant customer experience.
Qualifications- Passionate about customer service;
- Experience in a cashier position;
- Skillful and comfortable with a computer;
- Able to provide excellent customer service;
- Full availability for day, evening and weekend shifts
- Builingual English and French is considered an asset to help serve customers in the local area
