Store Associate

Position: Full Time Store Associate
Become a Store Associate with The Salvation Army in Moncton, NB, providing essential customer service and handling incoming donations. This full-time role requires interaction with customers and maintaining store operations.

In this position, you'll assist with sorting donated products, ensure effective customer transactions, and contribute to achieving store sales targets. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining store cleanliness and assisting donors. The focus is on delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers and donors courteously

• Process customer transactions accurately at checkout

• Sort and prepare donations for display and sale

• Maintain store appearance, including cleaning and organizing

• Monitor store security and assist with layout plans

Requirements:

• Completion of some high school coursework

• Previous experience in customer service or processing goods

• Cash handling and register experience

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds
