Position: Family Support Worker for Youth Development
Join George Gordon First Nation as a Family Support Youth Worker dedicated to youth development. Lead individual and group sessions that enhance life skills and promote well-being among local youth.

In this full-time role, you will design and implement prevention programs tailored to the community's needs. Your primary focus will include providing safe environments that encourage youth to develop relationships and life skills. Flexibility is paramount, as programs will occur during evenings, weekends, and school vacations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate support sessions focusing on personal development

• Plan youth prevention programming tailored to community needs

• Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of programs

• Create a nurturing environment for positive relationships

• Build collaboration with other community support services

Requirements:

• Completed High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in youth or child support services

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Skills in Microsoft Office Suite

• First Aid and CPR certification preferred, or willing to acquire
