Overview Mobile App and Web Developer – Quiz Platform (Freelance Contract) role at Twine . Develop a cross-platform quiz application for young learners with a mobile app and matching website. The solution will host at least four subjects, each containing up to 1,000 questions, with functionality to track scores based on correct answers. The user experience should be intuitive with a clean, simple interface modeled on the flow of platforms like Plabable.
Responsibilities Develop a fully functional mobile application for iOS and Android.
Build a matching web platform with synchronized functionality.
Create a subject database with at least four subjects and capacity for up to 1,000 questions each.
Implement score tracking and result feedback for users.
Ensure seamless user account synchronization between web and mobile versions.
Design a simple, child-friendly interface referencing the usability of Plabable.
Set up hosting infrastructure and deploy the solution.
Provide documentation for system use and maintenance.
Requirements Experience in developing both mobile apps and responsive web platforms.
Proficiency in frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or equivalent for cross-platform development.
Backend expertise in building and managing scalable databases (e.g., Firebase, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
Familiarity with authentication, user profiles, and progress tracking systems.
Strong UI/UX design skills with an ability to create accessible interfaces for children.
Knowledge of deployment for both mobile app stores and web hosting environments.
Ability to work independently, communicate progress clearly, and deliver within agreed timelines.
Prior experience with educational platforms, e-learning tools, or quiz-based systems is highly desirable.
