Description

Air Canada is seeking Customer Service Agents to join their cargo team at the Moncton Cargo call centre. This role requires reliable, adaptable individuals who excel in a team environment and are capable of handling diverse tasks such as shipment tracing, managing customer complaints about lost or damaged shipments, and performing data entry using multiple Cargo systems. Responsibilities also include determining cargo rates, managing shipping procedures, performing lost and found functions, and working on a cloud-based CRM system to address customer interactions via telephone and email.

As a key part of ensuring secure and timely aircraft departures, this permanent part-time position offers a starting salary of $20.27/hour, with an additional $2.50 per hour premium.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, candidates must have excellent computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft products being preferred. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively with peers and customers while building solid relationships. Applicants should be customer service oriented, well-organized, and proficient in time management. Availability for shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays, is required.

Candidates must be Canadian citizens or hold landed immigrant status and possess a valid driver’s license. They must be available to travel and attend a mandatory initial full-time training program of 2–4 weeks off-site. The role demands the ability to lift heavy objects unaided and repetitively, up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms), and a willingness to work under various climatic conditions.

Applicants must have the capacity to work within strict timelines to ensure on-time departures while maintaining safety at all times. Additionally, they must be able to obtain and maintain applicable transportation security clearances and authorizations, with further details available on the Transport Canada site. Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time of any employment offer, with the responsibility for securing necessary work permits, visas, or other authorizations resting solely with the applicants.
