As a key member of Transport Canada's Moncton team, you will implement and manage aviation safety plans and conduct audits and inspections. Utilize your extensive experience as a pilot, ensuring compliance with regulations while engaging with senior managers to enhance national aviation safety. Your profound knowledge of flight operations will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of the oversight program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement aviation safety oversight plans
• Conduct assessments, validations, audits, and inspections
• Communicate safety oversight details with stakeholders
• Manage risks and recommend solutions for safety improvement
• Maintain aviation currency through regular flight activities
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possession of a Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence
• Minimum 3 years of pilot experience in an operational setting
• Total of 2,500 flight hours
• Ability to travel for inspections and audits
