Fero Waste and Recycling Inc, a division of The Municipal Group of Companies, is a solid waste company that services New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and is currently seeking a casual Class 3 Driver.

Drive and load truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes according to contractual requirementsEnsure routes are completed in a timely and secure mannerResponsible for daily pre and post-trip inspections of truckLoad and unload materials, tools, and equipment under varying traffic and road conditionsMaintain radio contact with team and supervisor to receive instructions and report any issues on route or with the vehicle.Immediately report any driving infractions and suspensionsBe aware of your surroundings at all timesEnsure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the taskProtect and promote the interest of this company in all matters and take actions as required to satisfy such responsibilitiesEnsure the safety of fellow employeesPerform other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and
Experience:
Valid commercial driver’s license with acceptable driver abstractMinimum Class 3 LicenseWillingness to work in a team environmentAbility to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible mannerComply with all safety policies and proceduresAbility to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properlyStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Previous waste and or recycling experience is considered an asset but not necessaryWhat We Offer:
