Become an integral part of Day & Ross as a full-time LCV Trainer in Moncton, NB. This role focuses on coaching and instructing LCV drivers to ensure safe operations and compliance.
As an LCV Trainer, you will utilize your extensive driving experience to mentor and train selected drivers. Your responsibilities will include teaching the regulatory requirements for drivers, conducting road tests, and promoting a safety-first mentality. Additionally, up to 50% travel may be required to fulfill the training needs across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor and coach LCV drivers effectively
• Instruct candidates on Class 1/Commercial Driver License requirements
• Provide safety training and evaluate driving performance
• Complete road tests and annual permit reviews
• Promote safety initiatives with all drivers
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of LCV driving experience
• Valid LCV instructor certificate required
• Experience training adults or as a driver instructor
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Knowledge of federal DOT regulations
