Armour seeks a dependable Class 1 Truck Driver for full-time, permanent work. Successful candidates will manage regional operations, ensuring timely freight delivery while prioritizing safety and cleanliness of the vehicle. This position requires effective communication with dispatch and customers to meet service expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries at multiple regional stops
• Operate Class 1 vehicles per company and regulatory standards
• Load and unload freight accurately and safely
• Complete documentation using handheld scanning devices
• Communicate effectively to ensure timely service
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 License with clean driver’s abstract
• Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Strong knowledge of local and regional routes
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Experience with freight handling equipment is a plus
