Drive change at Day & Ross as an LCV Driver Instructor in Moncton, NB. Take the lead in training drivers on regulation compliance and safe operations in a supportive environment.
In this full-time role, you will utilize your coaching and mentoring skills to guide drivers through the LCV Certification process. Alongside teaching industry regulations, you’ll assess driving capabilities and conduct road tests. Your passion for safety and trucking will promote a culture of compliance and responsibility among trainees. This role may require up to 50% travel to meet training obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach LCV regulations and safe driving practices
• Conduct road tests for potential drivers
• Ensure candidates understand regulatory documentation
• Complete annual reviews with LCV drivers
• Instill a safety-first mindset in trainees
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of LCV driving experience
• Certified LCV instructor with proven track record
• Experience in adult training or education
• Excellent communication and computer proficiency
• Familiarity with federal DOT regulations
