Coordinate multimodal freight from Armour’s Moncton operations, using analytical problem-solving and clear communication across changing priorities. Work a 2-3-2 days rotation from 7:00pm to 7:00am.
As a Trip Assistant, you support freight movement across trucks, vessels, and rails. You collaborate with business partners, customers, drivers, and carriers while tracking shipments and resolving delays. The position also requires time management, multitasking, attention to detail, and confident decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Support transit across trucks, vessels, and rails
- Track shipments and troubleshoot delays with carriers
- Provide drivers paperwork and complete trip details
- Plan efficient, cost-effective transit routes
- Complete billing, RV creation, and reporting tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence making decisions amid changing priorities
- Solid time management and multitasking abilities
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
- Clear communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams
