Shipping accuracy and D365 Microsoft skills define this Shipper role, handling incoming goods and shipments through warehouse processes.
At J.D. Irving, Limited, the Shipper sorts and moves shipments by hand or material handling equipment. The role verifies, accepts, counts, and inputs incoming goods and conditions into D365 Microsoft. It also supports warehouse and fleet teams through shipping, receiving, packing, inventory, and order assembly duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Sort and move shipments using material handling equipment
- Verify, accept, count, and input incoming goods
- Complete shipping, packing, and quality control checks
- Maintain picking accuracy for complete customer shipments
- Monitor inventory and process shipping documents daily
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Strong computer skills, especially shipping software
- Shipping, picking, packing, or warehouse experience is an asset
- Forklift license is an asset
