Sort freight accurately at Purolator’s Moncton distribution center during scheduled evening shifts. Use scanning and physical handling skills to support delivery schedules.
As a PM Sorter, you will separate freight by destination, weight, size, and shape. Your work helps meet client delivery schedules through unloading, loading, scanning, and manual transfers. No experience or specialized education is required for this warehouse position.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload freight from curbside trucks onto conveyors
- Move freight from conveyors into curbside trucks
- Load linehaul trucks, cube trucks, or trailers
- Preload mail and packages into delivery vehicles
- Scan shipments and identify improperly sorted packages
- No specialized education required
- No previous experience necessary
- Lift and lower items up to 70 pounds
- Stand, reach, sort, and perform wrist movements
- English proficiency required for frequent communications
