Evening Freight Sorter Purolator

Sort freight accurately at Purolator’s Dieppe distribution center during scheduled evening shifts, using scanning and physical handling skills. English proficiency is required.
As a PM Sorter, you will separate freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules. No specialized education or previous experience is necessary. The work involves distribution center operations, package scanning, and frequent communication with various stakeholders in English.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload freight from curbside trucks onto conveyors
- Move freight from conveyors into curbside trucks
- Load linehaul, cube trucks, and trailers
- Preload mail and packages into delivery vehicles
- Scan shipments and identify improperly sorted packages
- No specialized education required
- No previous experience necessary
- Proficiency in English required
- Ability to lift and lower up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stand, reach, sort, and perform wrist movements
