Location: Dieppe
Build freight-handling skills with Purolator as a PM Sorter in Moncton’s warehouse environment. Sort, scan, load, and transfer shipments for scheduled deliveries.
This position separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules. You will handle mail, packages, bulk items, and non-conveyable freight across conveyors, chutes, trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles. No experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Sort freight by destination, weight, size, and shape
- Unload freight from conveyors or chutes for load-out
- Transfer bulk or non-conveyable items manually
- Preload mail and packages into delivery vehicles
- Scan priority, weekend, and improperly sorted packages
- No experience necessary for this position
- Specialized education is not required
- Physical strength for lifting up to 70 pounds
- Concentration on precision work and visual attention
- English proficiency required for stakeholder communications
