DENTAL HYGIENIST NEEDED FOR OUR MONETT DENTAL OFFICE.

We are a state-of-the-art, privately-owned dental office in Neosho, Webb City and Monett, MO. The position we are looking to fill is in our Monett location.

You know your responsibilities and duties as a professional, and we assume you are skilled at them! Most important, we are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with a great attitude, is patient-oriented, desires to impact the dental field, and strives to develop relationships with our patients to promote oral health goals/values. We believe in educating patients about their healthcare decisions and not treating them by insurance company standards.

Duties include:

Set up, breakdown, and sterilization of instruments and operatories

Take blood pressure and review medical history

Oral health evaluations (cancer screening, hard and soft tissue, perio charting, dental caries, homecare routines)

Perform complete dental prophys, scaling and root planing, and topical fluoride application.

Patient education and oral hygiene instruction

Acquire digital radiographs

Collaboration with the Dr. during hygiene appointments to facilitate a thorough exam for the patient

Treatment planning

Requirements:

Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments

Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation

Experience using electronic medical records is a plus

Leadership skills and growth mindset

Responsibilities:

As our valued dental hygienist, you can use your clinical skills and expertise to provide preventive care to our patients, including cleanings, SRP, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral health. You will work closely with our dentists to ensure patients receive the highest quality care.

Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments

Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist

Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment

Applying fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents to prevent dental decay

Education:

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Missouri

Minimum of an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene, Bachelor's degree a plus

CPR Certification

Job Type:

Full-Time, Monday - Thursday and every 3rd Friday OR Part-Time, Wednesday and Thursdays with occasional Fridays!

Salary:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour with commission incentives

Schedule:

8:00 am - 5:00 pm, morning meeting at 7:45 am.
