DisassemblerOur Disassembly Operators disassemble and clean core engines and engine parts for use in the remanufacturing process. They are essential in SRC Automotive's business operations! This is a 1st shift position working 5 am–3:30 pm Monday–Thursday with mandatory overtime on Fridays and possible Saturdays.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform routine and non‑routine production duties by following written processes to disassemble core engines, engine components, or to perform assembly on subcomponent parts.
- Responsible for the visual and quantifiable inspection of the final result of their process.
- Identify and sort disassembled parts to be sent to the correct parts cleaning process/locations.
As an employee‑owner, you must have a teammate mentality and strong interpersonal skills. An employee‑owner is proactive, upholds commitments and is continually learning.
Essential Qualifications- Must have the ability to learn basic engine knowledge.
- Ability to perform basic math; add and subtract numbers.
- Ability to use hand, air, and power tools. Must be able to retrieve and comprehend written processes, and B.O.M's.
- Ability to frequently lift 30–50 pounds.
- Experience in a manufacturing‑paced assembly line setting preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
