Truck Driver

SUMMARY OF POSITION

• Operate Tractor and Trailer equipment in compliance with Local, State, and Federal regulations for private fleet.
• Must possess Class A CDL, Hazmat endorsement a plus.
• Pass background check.
• Pass all pre-employment and periodic physicals and drug screens.
• Clean driving record.
• Good time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Safety-focused team player with a positive attitude.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Safely transporting freight between various locations over long distances, have knowledge of and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after each trip to ensure that there are no safety or mechanical issues.
• Carefully plan routes, that avoid traffic, delays, or unnecessary tolls, to ensure that deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers in a professional manner regarding delivery times and other arrangements, including obtaining signatures upon delivery.
• Ensure customer receiving teams only unload the number of items per the bill of laden. Call Logistics Manager of any issues.
• Ensure load is secured before leaving for next stop to prevent damage.
• Follow all Win Tech Logistics Policy.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience required, 5 or more years preferred
