We’re looking for a friendly, organised and personable Receptionist to join The Mayhill Dental and Specialist Centre, an award-winning private practice in Monmouth offering general dentistry, implants, orthodontics and facial aesthetics.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a practice that genuinely supports career development and progression. Our current Receptionist has recently taken the exciting next step in her career and is progressing into Dental Nursing, creating an opportunity for someone new to join our team and take on this important front-of-house role.

As Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in creating an excellent patient journey. From a warm welcome when patients arrive to managing appointments, calls and queries, you’ll help ensure every patient feels cared for and receives a consistently high level of service.

You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team in a modern specialist practice, with the opportunity to develop your skills and build a long-term career within dentistry.

Your role will include:

• Welcoming patients and creating a warm, friendly first impression
• Managing incoming calls, emails and patient enquiries
• Booking and managing appointments accurately and efficiently
• Managing busy diaries and helping to maximise appointment availability
• Supporting patients with questions about their appointments and treatment
• Providing a high level of customer service throughout the patient journey
• Liaising with dentists, specialists, nurses and the wider practice team
• Processing payments and supporting patient accounts
• Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality
• Managing recalls, confirmations and patient communications
• Dealing with patient queries and concerns in a calm and professional manner
• Helping to ensure Reception and the wider practice runs smoothly

Reception can be a busy environment, so you’ll need to be comfortable multitasking and prioritising, while remaining calm, organised and welcoming.
