Are you passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated ALN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the NP7 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in pupils’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to pupils with ALN in the classroom.
Assist the class teacher with behaviour management and lesson preparation.
Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions (literacy, numeracy, social skills).
Encourage engagement and participation in learning activities.
Build positive relationships with pupils and promote inclusion.
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience supporting children with ALN (desirable but not essential).
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Ability to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Empathetic, patient, and adaptable approach.
Experience from roles such as Support Worker, Care Assistant, or similar is highly valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
