Position: Teacher Assistant (Temporary)

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants in Abersychan to support our schools with consistent, high-quality staff.

Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in schools, whether on a daily, long-term, or permanent basis. The role involves supporting teachers by assisting with classroom activities, preparing resources, and supervising students, particularly those with additional learning needs.

Key Requirements for the Cover Supervisor Role in Abersychan:

CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or a minimum of six months’ relevant experience
Confidence in managing classes of students aged 11 to 16+
Ability to manage behaviour effectively to maintain student engagement
Flexibility to work across different departments and with varying age groups on a daily basis
