Are you a Sports Coach or Youth Worker looking to take your experience into a primary school setting?

We're recruiting energetic, reliable and enthusiastic candidates to support pupils across primary schools in Monmouth. Your experience motivating, mentoring and engaging children could transfer brilliantly into a Teaching Assistant or school support role.

The Role

⚽ Support pupils in the classroom and during practical activities
🏃 Use sport, games and physical activity to encourage engagement and confidence
👥 Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
🌟 Encourage positive behaviour, teamwork and independence
📚 Support teachers with classroom activities and learning
🤝 Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff

Who We're Looking For

✅ Experience working with children or young people is essential (work, coaching, volunteering, youth work or similar)
✅ Positive, energetic and adaptable approach
✅ Confident communicating with children and young people
✅ Patient and able to build positive relationships
✅ Welsh-speaking desirable but not essential
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
